You left me alone and facing the truth -
Love, sloppy old love
Lays reptile eggs for the careless.
The wolves gather in silence
Out of crisp air
the concret jungle
back again in this concret jungle
what a stupid silly bungle
already i wish i could fly on eagles wing
back to that isle were my heart does sing
bombs dropping from the sky
at command of those up high
a region set to flame
to catch the man without a name
The cloaked forest, stilled in an evening haze,
Shadows the quiet fathoms of his mien
As a veil drawn on a Sphinx's gaze.
The crest of his girth quickens to a sheen:
to stop by the aery swagger
of this façade in spellbound lustres
of rose bled marble and such
dazzles of supernal spires to see
Tickling Tommy's Tum
Mummy, why is my eczema crying? I want to kiss it all away.
No, you must not even touch it with your Tommy Thumb.
Mummy, why is my skin flaking? I want to tickle it all away.
No, you must not even pick it with your Peter Pointer.
