A pressed blue checked summer dress,
folded away in a bottom drawer.
Pencils added to the crayon pot,
replaced by pens with steelnibs....

Grasping Shadows

Wand‘ring ‘bout roamed Father Kelly
in the large cavernous belly
holding altars where were carried
bones of ancient heroes, buried....

I have come to decapitate
and decimate

We arrive after dark, and all night I wonder
