If a dark humour crushed
A fragile family of loners,
The laughter would clang in this empty space.
Whoever you are, were you to die,
The Last Ending
There is something I need to finish
But I am drunk on endings
An infinite scribble wondering how to make a full stop
To a Soldier
Turn your sword tip to the unforgiving ground
And pray your heart is harder than this
Keep your breastplate shined fast
So that you startle the comets ego from the dark skies
For Serge Serykh, his wife, Tatiana, and his stepson
Your life is not worth one of mine
Driven to despair along the road of self loathing
The journey never ends, waiting for my heaven.
I see, I feel this hatred, bearing down on me
And I am all but nothing.
Forlorn of Hope
I lurk in the shadows of despondency,
A decaying deity
Desperate and desolate.
Daily façade washed with forlorn
Chilling silence you always keep on your face
I’m guessing that this is more than just a phase
Empty staring look with your frosted careless glaze
Crumbling and desolate, the temple now decays.
Another day I feel the drain
and another time for fate
What I am now and where I’m at
Is a place darkened with a callous hate.
My worthless existence, as you have frequently reminded me
Flogging the Dead Horse
I’ve asked you before and you never seem to listen
You keep telling yourself this and see where it gets you
Momentarily distracted as you rack up the next line
Whatever is next I know this won’t get through.
Why is it you look so defeated? So broken ,compliant and wan?
I’ve walked with ‘The Eloy’ too long you see. I’ve walked with ‘The Eloy’ too long.
You never seem to object to injustice, or speak out when something is wrong?
I’ve bathed with ‘The Eloy’ too long you see I’ve talked with ‘The Eloy ‘too long.
