This is W.A.R
We are righteous, upright and marching forwards,
training as we go to fight against iniquity.
Little to live for but too much to not die for.
Martyrs or peacemakers, civilians or workers,
Old man sitting there, stone cold sober
on the cold stone bridge, his life almost over.
Face bright as the sun, clouds dark as night
white knuckles, white breath, white light.
Red colored onions, dying clowns
making their way through the crowd
broken biscuits, packed into
boxes,looking appealing to you?
I have been piano
I have been drum
I have been an orchestra
I have been numb
Colour me in
colour me fast
colour the sky
Ad lib recordings
ad lib shoes
ad lib photographs
photos of you
Three pigeons driving in a car
towards the place they know you are
lonely customer at checkout wall
programmed to be straight and tall
Do you have any scar concealer
anything to make it less clearer
to hide these wounds
that I carry each day
