Insomnia

by June Okochi

It strikes me as a beautiful night
The silence, the moon and stars
The peace and calm which lingers
I ponder in my heart
Complicated it gets sometimes
How existence litters
And thoughts glitter
Its like a network
A grid
An entangled thread
I stare into the heavens and wonder
But my questions end up unanswered
Where was i
Where am I
Where would I be
What is the aftermath
Beauty reigns
Truth exists at my fingertips
Fate shall never drift
I believe.......
