Tangerine Fields

by Claire Gordon

Tangerine fields and marmalade dreams
Strawberry rainbows ripped at the seams
Candyfloss hurricanes and honeycomb leaves
Lost in a world of make believes

Marzipan cobble stones leading to gingerbread halls
Cream soda streams cascading into sugary waterfalls
Toffee apple whispers float on the breeze
Blissfully masquerading in this make believe
