All Consuming Sun

by justin reeder

Pulsing rays of wondrous power,
Every cell inside me flower,
Nerve to fibre roar and shudder,
Supreme sensation like no other.

Boring through from head to foot,
My being torn out by the root,
Burning, shining, dancing star,
Brilliant light ignites the heart.

Destiny does draw me on,
The golden path down which I run,
Everything becomes as one,
Overcome by all consuming sun.
