Darkness

by Isabel Darby

When I went to bed at night the world was shrinking
smaller, smaller,
tincey wincey.
When I went to bed at night my room was shrinking
smaller, smaller,
tincey wincey.
When I went to bed at night the birds and bees were shrinking
smaller, smaller,
tincey wincey.
When I went to bed at night I was shrinking
smaller, smaller...
But I didn't get to tincey wincey
Because the darkness came in and ate me!
