An Angel in my Eyes

by Zara Perkins

The earths loss
The heavens gain
A man so bold
He put everyone to shame
His big heart
Held everyone inside
He'd help anyone out
Who needed him by their side
He made friends where ever he went
His time was golden what he spent
Laughter was around him all the time
An angel in my eyes
He made me smile
When I was a child
So many times laughter was shared
I'll never again be repaired
An angel in my eyes
He closed his eyes we said goodbye
As his memories will never die
Things will not be the same
Because earths missing an angel
And on this earth we will never see him again
His memory lives on in that everyone's hearts
Could never die
He was an angel in all our eyes
