Drowning universes

by Stephan Sundqvist

Drowning universes
cut deep scars through my eyes.
In the lethargy of dreaming hopes
bubbles of glewing streams
run in my veins
reminding me
about insoluble complexities
of the riddles
inflicting the human soul.

Rosemary buds
on ever green leaves
gaze upon my pale lips
leaving questions
and no answers in my mouth.

Once with silver lustre
clouds of moisty stems
have left a gusty taste
of agony.

Dust of cherry hills
reaped long ago
cries for love
that never tread
on flower beds.
