Leave Unannounced
by
Milton Keynes, UK
Choose one morning
But do it soon
Choose tomorrow morning
Do it without warning
Slip out
While they are still snoring
Slip out
While you are still yawning
Tell them nothing
Their tears may woo you
Don’t say goodbye
Their tears may move you
Salvation is not a peer group circus
It’s a man to man talk with God...one on one
So wait for no one
You are ready
And that is all that matters
Leave their company
Leave unannounced

A strong voice. I like what you haven't said here! The repetition works. Perhaps rethink "snoring" & "yawning" for less prosaic/comic verbs?
