Barack. Abuma?

by Daniel Mendes

When you won I was surprised
But did not celebrate
Because you’re still a politician at the end of the day
Famous for lies, painting a pretty picture in the war zone
Telling us what you think we want to hear
This you are prone
Feeding the fiction
The truth? Hidden
The last decent one died… Assassination
And he was white so why all the expectations because of your race
It doesn’t mean the same deceptions won’t take place
I hope you’re true
They say:
‘If it’s going to be anyone it’s going to be you…’
To deliver or be the scapegoat black dude
But what is the President?
A mere spokesman for the system?
Or does he really make the decision?
