Giant's dream
by
vancouver, Canada
We all live in a giant's dream,
hear his cries all night
wait for the sunbeam
to put us out of sight.
We all live in a giant's dream,
scorched and scorned by
hear his cries all night
wait for the sunbeam
to put us out of sight.
We all live in a giant's dream,
scorched and scorned by
the glowering pip sun
dipped high
in the endless sky
where rainbows glow
blue, black, white and grey
all day.
We all live in a giant's dream,
hear words hum and buzz
from a flute
for the mute
and babbling voices echo
in the chambers of the blackhole
of his mind.
We all live in a giant's dream,
unable to scramble
from his crisscross ramble
from the hollow and horror
of his metastasized despair
morphed into consuming nightmares
mesmerised
until sunrise.
Wake up, giant.
in the endless sky
where rainbows glow
blue, black, white and grey
all day.
We all live in a giant's dream,
hear words hum and buzz
from a flute
for the mute
and babbling voices echo
in the chambers of the blackhole
of his mind.
We all live in a giant's dream,
unable to scramble
from his crisscross ramble
from the hollow and horror
of his metastasized despair
morphed into consuming nightmares
mesmerised
until sunrise.
Wake up, giant.
