Your Letter Sees Me Through

by Helen Hunt

Letter From Mum:

To My Dearest Family,

Just to let you know I arrived here ok and I think about you each day
I am writing this from Heaven. I met up with the family above.
Here I no longer feel any pain only eternal love.
I want you to be happy even though I am out of sight.
I visit  you, every morning, noon and night.

When you think of my life with you and all those loving years.
Because you love me, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain.
Remember me when the sun shines, and even when theres rain.
I have so many challenges ahead for you that I know you can climb.
We will do it together by taking one day at a time.
Right now I am needed here, there is a much bigger plan.
I have asked to be an angel and to help our mortal man

I was sorry to leave you when my life on earth was through.
But I look forward to the day when you come here and I get to see you.
I have a list of things that I really must get on and do.
But at the top of the list is for me to watch and care for you.

And when its time for you to go, from that body to be free.
Remember, you're not going, you're just coming here to me.

My Reply To Mum:

My Dearest Mum,

I received your letter from heaven, it made the teardrops fall.
But knowing you're with the family above, I know you will have a ball
I know that you are with me, for I feel your presence near.
I smell your perfume each time I shed a tear
I know you are watching over me, as you promised you will do.
And when I face a challenge its your letter that sees me through.
When I lose the strength and feel unable to climb.
I've done exactly what you said, by taking one day at a time.
And when its time for me to go, to join you in heaven high.
My wings I will spread so very wide, to join you in the sky.
