Apostles

1 - your lewd married
tongue-slips amuse me, leave
me flattered, awkward.
Slide under the general
office-talk and reach me.
2 – the gift was
wonderful
but brought into sudden
focus
your shy lash-stares.
Made me still for a while.
3 – uncertain
what you want – I’d make
a bad country wife. They say
I’m a good lay
but I’m not so easy any more. 
4 – sitting alone amongst
strangers in the
small country station
I feel your finger
against my lips and
wish it real
