HURT AND HATRED

by TIM SANSOM

If I ignore your hurtful letter
Please don’t think that means I agree with what you accuse me of
And please don’t see my humble silence as an admission of guilt
And please try and see that the world finds me essentially agreeable.

Like the humility of that last line;to be found 'essentially agreeable' is not too much to ask! Wouldn't end sentence with conjunction 'of'

Clear and in essence heartfelt. Liked the assonance in last line. Wondered if you could do more with your lines - where you start/end them.
