'Wild Delights'

by Niall O' Regan

In earth concealed roots of desire
This fragrant blessing...A thought to inspire
With just a desperate glance of a life long lived
With no heavenly voice ever mine to give
Just 'Wild Delights' could help me live

But as your wealth of heart lives on
And now all my 'Wild Delights' have gone
As looked upon from a heavens stair'
My wasteful life lays vague and bare

But in a life long pain-felt bliss
Knowing now all i truly miss
...is that beauty in your heavens glare'

Judges' comments on this poem

I was confused by the apostrophe placement at the end of some lines. There was also a missed capital I near the end, and some other errors.
