Fast Food Diet

by Zak Rayment

Big-Mac Meal please!
But I'm on a diet so no cheese ...
I think I'll have two to start,
With chocolate sauce on the apple tart.
And don't forget the free burger with each!
Mum said the Aitkins'll get me fit for the beach...
And make them both medium, never a large;
I just can't afford all the extra charge
That'll stick to my hips!
Oh, and leave out the dips,
Full of sugar and salt and nasty stuff!
C'mon, I'm hungry! Three hours waiting is tough!

An amusing poem -- though felt weakest in its conclusion. Enjoyable for its unembarrassed energy.

Fun use of rhyme
