Dental poem

by William West

I am seeing too much of my dentist
It’s an unnatural relationship
He hurts me
I pay him
Owwwwwwwww      Owwwwwwwwwwwwwww
P-P-P-pain
D-D-D-Dentist    D-D-D-Dentist
Den-Tist   Dent-Ist
Scared  Scared
This wont hurt
Zzzzzzzzzzzt    Zzzzzzzzzt
Owwwwwwwww  Owwwwwwwwwwwwww
It bloody does!
Dent-al Hy-Gienist  Den-tal Hy-Gienist
Sa-Dist    Sa-Dist
P-P-Pain  Pain
P-P-Payment    Payment?
Mental Dental!

This is a hilarious poem, I like how simple it is and effective, the best I think is the wordplay with pain and payment.

The use of structure could be explored more and could the writing style- to develop a more sophisticated poem.
