Just a call...

by Simon Finnerty

Call them shadows on the floor,
Call them what you will.
Call them fly’s that crawl the walls
Beneath your window-sill.

Call a wall a grain of sand,
Call a dam a dew.
Call the mountains nothing more
Than dust that breaks your view.

For if you call, or care to call
To call a call a roar,
Then throw your roar unto the world
And watch the world stand still.
