Colour

by Daniel Crate

Colour me in
colour me fast
colour the sky
and the dark
colour the days
of summer air
colour the invisible
polar bear
colour the ditch
and the moon
colour the dinner
colour the food
colour the children
colour them quick
don’t forget dog
colour his stick
colour the boat
the sail, the jib

Very well sustained musical tone. Well controlled changes of pace using one-line and two-line phrases. Lovely concluding two-line phrase.
