Serendipity

by Naveed Mulki

In the far away mountain
In the depths of the ocean
I do not look for you

In the chasm of darkness
In the plague of people
I do not yearn for you

In the glimpses of happiness
In the peace of laughter
I do not remember you

In the brink of excitement
In the passion of disappointment
I do not think of you

In the tremor of isolation
In the joy of togetherness
I do not want you

In every moment that I see you
In every experience that I meet you
It feels like the very first time
The day I fell madly in love
The day I did not know you.

Simply structured love poem with some interesting comparisons.

A little self-indulgent, perhaps; but none the less powerful for it.

Not sure how title matches poem.Nice repetition in end lines.Ending was too rapid a switch for me,couldnt follow it.
